Rob Adams

Rob Adams’s career spanned 35 years working mostly on the discount side of the grocery business. He worked for 20 years at No Frills and held progressively senior roles. He was executive vice president of No Frills in 2009 when left the company to join Sobeys Inc. in 2009 as general manager of discount. He led the transformation of the Price Chopper business into the FreshCo banner. He was recognized for efforts during his career, receiving the 2002 Outstanding Achievement Award from Loblaw and the 2011 Ontario Produce Marketing Association Outstanding Achievement Award for FreshCo. Between 2009 and 2018, he helped raise more than $1 million for the Canadian Cancer Society through FreshCo annual golf tournaments.
