Art Smith

Art Smith is the founder of GS1 Canada (formerly Electronic Commerce Council of Canada), one of the world’s leading value chain standards organizations. He served as CEO of the company from 1997 until his retirement earlier this year. He has over 20 years of Canadian retail experience and participated on several international boards and committees. In 2015, he received the Golden Pencil award.
