Mike Motz

Mike Motz was chief operating officer for the retail divisions of Loblaw Company between 2018 and 2019. He began his career working part time for Miracle Food Mart at 14 years old and was then hired full time after graduating. He worked at Knechtel, the Oshawa Group and AC Nielsen. Prior to his role at Loblaw, he spent 14 years at Shoppers Drug Mart, where he held several leadership roles including president, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, and executive vice president of operations. In 2019, he left the grocery industry and took on the role of CEO for Staples in the U.S.
