Larry and Neil Rossy

Entrepreneur and third-generation retailer Larry Rossy founded Dollarama in 1992, when he transformed one of his father’s variety stores in Matane, Que., into the new concept. Since that time, he has built the chain to over 1,000 locations coast to coast. In 2016, Larry’s son Neil was appointed president and CEO. A member of the board of directors since 2004, Neil had served as chief merchandising officer since 2010. Larry continued as executive chairman until 2018, when he was named chairman emeritus.
