Tina Lee
T&T Supermarket CEO Tina Lee took over the helm of the company from her mother and the grocery chain founder Cindy Lee in 2014. Lee’s career in the business began at 13 years old when she and her sister Tiffany pitched in to help their mother, who opened the first T&T store in Burnaby, B.C. in 1993. When Loblaw purchased the company in 2009 for $225 million, it had 17 stores in B.C., Alberta and Ontario and annual sales of $514 million. Today, it has 23 large stores across those three provinces and T&T’s founding family has remained in charge to steer strategy and run the company. Lee and her mother Cindy received the 2018 Canadian Grand Prix Trailblazer Lifetime Achievement Award.
