Mike Venton

Mike Venton is general manager of discount format for Sobeys Inc. Since joining the company in 2018, he has been instrumental in overseeing the FreshCo banner’s ascension in the discount food retail space, including the expansion of the banner into Western Canada. Venton has built a career and well-earned respect for his knowledge and insights into the discount retail space, having worked in this area for the better part of his career. Prior to joining Sobeys Inc., he held senior executive roles at No Frills and fresh food discount for Loblaw banners.
